Residents of Lealui Royal Village have expressed their gratitude to Western Water Supply and Sanitation Company Limited (WWSSC) and the Barotse Royal Establishment (BRE) for extending water supply services to the Royal Village.
The appreciation was conveyed during a community engagement meeting held at Lealui School on Thursday. The meeting brought together residents, community leaders, and representatives from WWSSC and BRE to discuss the water project and its anticipated benefits.
Speaking during the engagement, community members said the availability of clean and safe water would significantly improve their quality of life. They noted that the project would not only ease access to water but also contribute to improved sanitation and hygiene standards within the community.
Residents described the development as a milestone for the Royal Village, highlighting its potential to reduce water-related challenges and support healthier living conditions for households.
The community engagement meeting was organized by Western Water Supply and Sanitation Company Limited in collaboration with the Barotse Royal Establishment as part of ongoing efforts to ensure that residents are informed and involved in the implementation of the water supply project.
